 Buckle up!
Every time you get into a car, do you make sure you wear your seat belt? You should, because it could save your life!
Let's say you're driving along and another driver collides into you. If you have your seat belt on, the strongest areas of your body - your hips, shoulders and chest - absorb the force of the collision.
If you're not being restrained in your seat, chances are the force of the collision will propel you forward into the steering wheel, dashboard or windscreen. Worse, you could be thrown out from the vehicle altogether and suffer serious, even fatal, injuries.
If you're one of those who think wearing a seat belt is just a nuisance, consider the following:
The chance of serious injury is 25 times greater if you are thrown from your car than if you remain in your seat.
People who wear seat belts have a 50% better chance of suffering no severe injuries in a traffic accident.
With a seat belt on, it's much more likely you will be able to get out and help others safely escape from the vehicle.
Thousands of people who have died in car crashes could have been saved if they had only buckled up.
It's the law in Malaysia to wear a seat belt, and you could get fined for not complying.

Remember, it takes just a few seconds to buckle up - a few seconds that could save your life.
